CHOOSE JOY

In my last blog post, I talked about choosing to take ownership of your mood, the way that you feel, and your happiness. Today, I want to focus on how you can choose to do the things that you love and bring you joy. First, you have to dig a little and really find out what those things are. Before writing this blogpost, I decided to sit down in my desk and journal about the things I know make me feel happy. I also asked my closest friends. Here's a quick list:
  1. Reading
  2. Writing
  3. Movies
  4. Learning
  5. Making others laugh 
  6. Trying new things
  7. Giving someone a special gift 
  8. Good coffee
  9. Randomness 
  10. Shopping

Okay, maybe that wasn't a quick list. The point is that becoming aware of the things that bring you joy help you become more intentional with choosing to actually do those things more often. I hope that my list can help you figure out the things that bring you happiness, if not I would love you to help you figure them out.
