Every relationship is worth saving, or at least the attempt of saving it. In all honesty, a couple of weeks ago I didn't have this mindset about relationships and conflict. If you don't know me, I'm the kind of person that avoids conflict 10/10 times. I HATE conflict and hate it's a big word. The simple thought of being in a "fight" with someone turns my stomach, the simple idea is ugly to me. However, I strongly believe that every relationship is worth saving. So, here are some things you should consider before approaching a conflict(because let's be honest, starting difficult conversations it's not easy... that's why they're called difficult conversations to begin with):
1) Make the first step! I know! What I'm saying probably sounds crazy, but taking initiate shows how important the relationship truly is
2) Acknowledge the other person's feelings. Don't focus on the facts, pay attention to feelings(even if it makes no sense to you)
3) Accept your part of the blame! Own it! Its okay! You're human and you can make mistakes...
4)Cooperate & compromise.
Lastly, just remember that at the end of the day the most important aspect of our lives is our relationship with each other! That's why every relationship is worth the attempt of saving.
